Eternal Light Peace Memorial

The Eternal Light Peace Memorial, dedicated on July 3, 1938, honors the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg and the historic 1913 reunion of veterans. A natural gas flame, housed in a one-ton bronze urn, burns atop a towering structure on a stone-paved pedestrian terrace.
